ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
  1. Identify and evaluate the data generated through test drives and inspections.
  2. Edit paperwork and provide quality vehicle issue descriptions in all documentation.
  3. Categorizing data and determine actions necessary as a result of data generation.
  4. Collect/retrieve and distribute data using customer provided systems such as web-based applications, data collections systems, drive recorders, laptops, software, etc.
  5. Regulate flow of project related paperwork.
  6. Monitor daily reports concerning progress of programs to apprise customers of test status.
  7. Act as a liaison between Kett and the customer to ensure proper actions are taken when issues arise; including providing reports and running diagnostic scans on the vehicle.
  8. Perform verification and troubleshooting of issues on vehicles and data collection systems,
  9. Coordinate parts handling for incoming and outgoing parts.
  10. Coordinate vehicle transfers.
  11. Assure facility and employee appearance meet company standards.
  12. Train newly hired drivers/operators on specific project requirements and safety.
  13. Implement changes to the program as requested by the customer.
  14. May act as Data Entry/Verification person when needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Provide instructions for vehicle handling, data collection training, and maintenance.

  • Education and/or experience: High School diploma or GED, and Associates degree or equivalent in engineering; and a basic understanding of automotive testing.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English language. Read and understand safety rules and test procedures in English; able to communicate test and safety information and instructions in written and spoken English.
  • Mathematical skills: Ability to calculate by addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with an understanding of proportionality and fractions.
  • Computer skills: Able to use a PC with Microsoft Office applications and Internet Explorer.
  • Reasoning ability: Able to solve practical problems, overcome unique situations with little assistance, and to identify vehicle problems when necessary and come up with logical, workable, short -term and long-term solutions.
  • Certificates, Licenses and registrations: Must have a Valid Driver's License and Associates degrees or equivalent experience in relevant areas. Must pass a seven (7) year reference check.
  • Physical demands: Requires walking and standing, and sitting for long periods to time to do clerical work. Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally, and lift and carry 10 pounds frequently, sometimes across outside terrain.
  • Work environment: Will work in office, maintenance shop, outside the buildings, or in a vehicle.
