Job description

Job Summary:

  • We are looking for an Automotive Test Technician to support vehicle testing and evaluation activities.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on automotive experience and be comfortableย driving vehicles for testing purposes, following test procedures, identifying vehicle/system issues, and documenting test results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive test vehicles as part of vehicle testing and evaluation activities.
  • Perform vehicle testing based on established test procedures and instructions.
  • Support testing on public roads, test tracks, and/or proving grounds.
  • Observe vehicle performance and identify abnormal conditions or issues.
  • Document test results, observations, and vehicle concerns accurately.
  • Support engineers and test teams during vehicle validation activities.
  • Follow all vehicle testing and safety procedures.
  • Assist with vehicle preparation and basic troubleshooting when required.
  • Communicate testing results and issues to the engineering team.
  • Maintain accurate test documentation and reports.
  • Travel to different testing locations as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Automotive technician, vehicle testing, validation, or related experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working with vehicles.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Comfortable driving vehicles for extended periods as part of testing.
  • Ability to follow detailed testing procedures and instructions.
  • Strong observation and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in different testing environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Automotive Technician experience.
  • Vehicle testing or validation experience.
  • Experience with ADAS, ECU, electrical, or vehicle systems.
  • Experience working at automotive proving grounds or test tracks.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive diagnostics.
  • Previous experience working with an OEM or automotive manufacturer.
