POSITION TITLE: Automotive Service Writer
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
DEPARTMENT: Service
POSITION SUMMARY: The Automotive Service Writer acts as the liaison between customers and the service department to ensure timely and accurate service and build customer relationships.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provides helpful, friendly and respectful customer service with a We Can Do That attitude.
  • Combines advanced automotive knowledge with strong leadership skills to effectively collaborate with the service technician team to ensure best in class service to customers.
  • Builds strong customer relationships to generate repeat customers.
  • Creates work schedules and manages service center workflow.
  • Leads and mentors junior technicians to assist in their growth and development.
  • Road tests vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Secondary Job Functions:
  • Cross train in other areas as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
