Job Title - Basetech System Engineer Job Description

EE Architecture team is located within the Electronics and Software Center. The team is responsible for the design of electrical architecture regarding topology, logic architecture, function allocation, base technologies, system safety and cybersecurity. The team is now looking to temporarily strengthen its capabilities within base technologies.

As Basetech System Engineer, you will focus on in-vehicle and offboard vehicle systems so that those are following relevant base technology requirements, processes and standards. The work will in many cases be done in close cooperation with other teams within Zeekr Technology Europe, Geely Automotive Group, LYNK&CO and IT department. The work involves the complete development cycle from base technology concept design, requirement setting, interactions with suppliers as well as test activity planning and execution. Examples of major tasks/activities:

  • Perform and support activities related to base technology concepts, speciation's and requirements
  • Perform reviews of SWIM issues with appropriate follow-up actions
  • Perform base technology compatibility reviews with suppliers
  • Support base technologies testing, verification and validation (V&V) activities
  • Cooperate with international colleagues
Qualifications and skills required for the role
  • 5+ years of experience in base technology work within the automotive area.
  • Experience of working with technology deviation processes and/or base technology concepts such as FlexRay, CAN FD, SWDL, Ethernet and PDU routing
  • Beneficial to have experience of working with automotive electrical systems, architecture and/or software
  • Knowledge about embedded system and/or software development and/or testing methodologies/tools
  • Knowledge about automotive best practices, standards and regulations
  • Knowledge about base technology testing and verification tools such as DSA, SPA-DVA, CANoe
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent area
  • Knowledge of Open Alliance TC18 Remote control protocol and TC19
  • Software defined networks for concept development.
