Software Engineer - Blue Yonder
Are you a technical expert passionate about logistics innovation? We're seeking an energetic Software Engineer to design and implement a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) solution. In this highly analytical role, you will execute projects, ensure successful WMS implementations, and drive operational excellence.

What You'll Do:
  • You'll be a technical expert for the project team, ensuring the successful delivery of our WMS goals and development. You will act as a subject matter expert, aligning system functionality with customer needs and operational goals.
  • Design and optimize Blue Yonder WMS functionality using WMS configurations or by developing and/or modifying existing MOCA commands, triggers, SQL scripts, or by utilizing Pagebuilder and JavaScript; ensuring all changes are delivered via standard rollout packages.
  • Write and maintain stored procedures, triggers, functions, and scripts to support core WMS functionality, reporting, and automation.
  • Collaborate with operations and project teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and database logic that meet KPIs and SLAs.
  • Perform system configuration and custom development to enable new features and workflows.
  • Lead testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of MOCA/SQL code code and application logic within Blue Yonder Trace files to ensure reliability, performance, and quick resolution of issues.
  • Create and maintain functional and technical design documents to capture development work.
  • Provide technical support and hands-on training for operations teams, acting as a WMS subject matter expert.
  • Evaluate system performance and propose improvements through database optimization, indexing, and query tuning.
  • Partner with integration teams to ensure clean data flows (EDI, API, SFTP, etc.), with focus on downstream impacts to SQL-based applications.
  • Act as a change agent to support transition from as-is to to-be systems and processes.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • 3+ years leading Blue Yonder WMS experience or programming expertise; including functional, technical, implementation or deployment is required.
  • 3+ years of experience leading WMS Implementations, warehouse operations focused continual improvement, or other relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, both external and internal, are key to this role
  • Demonstrated planning, task organizing and execution skills.
  • Working knowledge of popular agile software development methodologies, Lean, etc.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Office products
  • A willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
