Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Automotive Service Manager to lead our Service department and be responsible for overseeing all service operations and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Automotive Service Manager will lead a dedicated team of service professionals, manage daily operations, and implement strategies to drive service department success. Duties & Responsibilities:

· Lead, mentor, and motivate the service team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve departmental goals.

· Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and staffing.

· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

· Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining effective communication.

· Develop and implement service initiatives to enhance customer experience and loyalty.

· Monitor and manage service department productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.

· Analyze service metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

· Develop and manage the service department budget, including labor, parts, and supplies.

· Drive profitability by optimizing service operations and upselling additional services and products.

· Work closely with other departments, including sales and parts, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

· Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role within an automotive service environment.

· Strong understanding of automotive service operations, including repair processes, parts management, and customer service.

· Exceptional leadership and team management abilities with a focus on employee development and motivation.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Automotive Technology, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.

· A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) and automotive repair software.
