Northwest Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, part of the Sullivan Automotive Group, is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our Service Department in Torrington, Connecticut.

Sullivan Automotive Group is a family-owned and operated dealership group serving Connecticut for three generations. We believe in taking care of our employees, building long-term customer relationships, and providing our teams with the tools and facilities they need to succeed.

What You'll Do

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day operation of the Service Department, with a focus on customer satisfaction, employee development, productivity and profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage service advisors, technicians and support staff

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and customer retention

  • Recruit, train, coach and develop Service Department employees

  • Monitor technician productivity, efficiency and shop workflow

  • Drive department sales and profitability while maintaining excellent customer service

  • Manage warranty processes and ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements

  • Maintain proper staffing levels and effective scheduling

  • Work closely with Parts, Sales and dealership management

  • Ensure dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures are followed

  • Build a positive, professional and accountable team culture

What We're Looking For
  • Previous automotive service management experience is required

  • Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram experience is a strong plus

  • Strong leadership and people-management skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Solid understanding of dealership service operations and financial performance

  • Ability to motivate a team and hold employees accountable

  • Organized, professional and results-oriented

  • Valid driver's license
