Job description

Doug Smith KIA in Lindon, Utah is seeking motivated service technicians. Our Service Department has an excellent team. They are fun and exciting to work with. Responsibilities - Service Technician: 
  • Document all work performed clearly and accurately
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications - Service Technician: 

  • Motivated and have a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Experience diagnosing & repairing vehicles
  • Maintain and keep a clean and efficient work area
  • Safety & Emissions certifications preferred
  • Good driving record
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
