Quality Control Inspector
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Location: Urbana, OH
We are hiring an experienced Quality Control Inspector to support manufacturing operations in Urbana, Ohio. This position is responsible for inspecting products, identifying quality issues, maintaining accurate quality records, and working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure products meet established quality standards.
Responsibilities
  • Inspect products and identify quality issues or defects
  • Support quality activities throughout manufacturing and shipping
  • Work with manufacturing, process, and engineering teams to address quality concerns
  • Develop and follow inspection plans and special inspection instructions
  • Perform First Article Inspections on new products
  • Maintain accurate quality control and inspection records
  • Operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment
  • Operate X-Ray inspection equipment
  • Follow established quality procedures and supervisor instructions
  • Assist with additional quality and production-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum 12 months of assembly or similar manufacturing inspection experience
  • Previous quality control or quality inspection experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete assigned tasks
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be willing to work overtime during the week and on weekends when required
