Job description

BMTech is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our battery management and energy storage products. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support new product development, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead quality assurance activities throughout new product development.
  • Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to review design changes and support product quality improvements.
  • Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), R&D quality assurance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain quality documentation, issue tracking, engineering change records, and quality metrics.
  • Conduct quality reviews and help establish quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality management within automotive electronics, battery systems, energy storage, or a related industry.
  • Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, and quality auditing.
  • Knowledge of battery systems, inverters, energy storage systems, or other power electronics.
  • Experience with product testing, failure analysis, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with photovoltaic (PV) or energy storage products.
  • Experience handling customer quality issues and preparing 8D reports.
