Location: Arlington, TX
Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday Weekend availability required as business needs dictate.

Position Overview
MEI Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Foreman to lead our technician team and oversee the vehicle reconditioning process. This role is responsible for managing shop operations, ensuring high-quality repairs, maintaining production goals, and supporting technician development. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop the technician team to maximize productivity and performance.
  • Manage the flow of vehicles through diagnostics, repairs, rechecks, and heavy mechanical work.
  • Monitor daily and weekly production goals while maintaining technician billed hours per unit.
  • Oversee vehicle approvals and priority dispatching within the MEI production system.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure adequate mechanical support and timely repairs.
  • Analyze shop reports and performance trends to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Schedule and assign GPS installations based on technician experience and workload.
  • Maintain quality control standards and minimize vehicle comebacks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and repair standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work both indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
