Job description

We are looking for an Automotive Painter to join our team! The Automotive Painter is responsible for painting vehicles from a variety of makes and models to customer specifications at a high level of skill and quality. If you have experience with automotive paint and are looking for a stable opportunity with no prospecting required, then this may be the job for you!
Responsibilities:
  • Receive automotive inventory and review pre-approved paint work
  • Mix paint and paint vehicles and panels as approved on the repair order
  • Properly spray the application of primers, sealers, basecoats, and clearcoats
  • Produce sprayed finishes with little or no dirt and a consistent gloss and texture,e matching the OEM finish with minimal to no need to sand and buff
  • Blend and apply 2- and 3-stage colors as needed
  • Work closely with prep staff and other painters to meet work demands as a team.
  • Partner with additional departments as applicable to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain company-provided tools and additional equipment in accordance with company standards.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in automotive paint
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a checking/savings account or pay card with routing numbers for direct deposit
  • General understanding of automotive details and features.
  • Ability to sit, bend, squat, and hold various positions for long periods of time
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and set deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with multiple departments
  • Motivated, personable, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
  • The ability to operate a manual transmission is a plus.
