artistry.
Position Summary
The Painter is responsible for preparing, finishing, and painting exhibit components, custom displays, and architectural elements. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing techniques, and the ability to work with a variety of materials and finishes in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, masking, and priming.
Apply paint, stains, and specialty finishes using spray guns, rollers, and brushes.
Mix and match paint colors to meet design specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and work area.
Inspect finished work for quality and consistency, making touch-ups as needed.
Collaborate with designers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure accurate execution of creative vision.
