Salary: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour | (4) Ten-Hour Shifts (3) Days Off

For over 25 years our systems have been storing and dispensing fuel for the military, large data centers, police and fire departments, construction company, hospitals, and airports around the globe. Our systems are built to withstand and protect fuel against, fire, bullets, and vehicle collision.

We are currently looking for an experienced heavy equipment/automotive painter to fill one of our fuel system painter positions. A fuel system painter is responsible for the application of a wide range of industrial liquid coatings which may include one, or three-coat procedures to manufactured products in accordance with specifications indicated by the paint manufacturer or customer.

The core tasks, duties, and responsibilities that commonly make up an industrial
painter’s position at Envirosafe™ Tanks by Memco, Inc. are as follows:

  • Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products and
    above-ground fuel tanks.

  • Utilize instrumentation to measure painting parameters to ensure
    compliance with all known specifications.

  • Responsible for the application of industrial coatings in confined spaces.

  • Appropriately rig large objects for the purpose of moving them in the process of applying the industrial coatings.

  • Suggest tools and equipment in order to improve the overall operation and
    the efficiency of the painting process.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe good safety habits.

  • Adhere to all OSHA and Hazmat Procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area.

  • Responsible for reporting malfunctions of equipment or processing to the
    Production Manager.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Job Type: Full-time - Monday-Thursday

How your pay is determined:

$17.00 - $26.00 per hour

Your starting rate of pay will be directly linked to your ability to produce a well-painted finish.
