Job description

Commercial Plasterer
Location: Bradenton, Florida
Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $23-$25 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial Plasterer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in applying plaster, stucco, EIFS, and other finish systems on commercial construction projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a crew on projects ranging from commercial buildings, schools, medical office, retail, hospitals, and residential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare walls, ceilings, and structural surfaces for plaster application by cleaning, repairing, and installing appropriate backing materials.
• Apply, and finish plaster, stucco, EIFS, and cementitious coatings to commercial specifications.
• Apply smooth, textured, or decorative finishes according to project requirements.
• Repair damaged plaster and stucco surfaces on renovation, restoration and new construction.
• Set up and safely use scaffolding, lifts, ladders, and other access equipment.
• Maintain productivity while meeting project schedules and quality standards.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and other trades on-site.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial plastering experience preferred.
• Experience with traditional plaster, stucco, EIFS, veneer plaster, and commercial finishing systems.
• Familiarity with commercial construction practices and jobsite safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and pride in your workmanship.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb, and work overhead for extended periods.
• Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and elevated work platforms.
• Ability to work on heights up to 50 feet in the air.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience operating plaster pumps and spray equipment.
• Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certification.
• Ability to train and mentor apprentices or less experienced plasterers.
