Job description

Service to Sales Specialist. Vehicle Exchange Program Salesperson.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a personable and customer-focused Salesperson to join our Vehicle Exchange Program. In this unique role, you’ll engage service customers with a comfortable, consultative approach, offering trade-in evaluations and vehicle upgrade options as added benefits to their service visits. As a Service to Sales Specialist, you will guide clients in comparing the advantages of upgrading to a newer vehicle—highlighting special incentives, warranties and new technology—versus the ongoing costs of maintaining their current vehicle, depreciation, warranty expiration, outdated technology, and declining performance. Service to Sales requires a low-pressure, relaxed, and informative sales process. Our goal is to ensure that all targeted service clients fully understand their options and receive the information they need to make confident decisions

Compensation is $30/hour plus commission, with a full benefits package and paid vacation time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Build rapport with service customers, providing insights into their vehicle’s value and upgrade options with a friendly, low-pressure approach.
  • Consultative Sales: Educate customers on the benefits of trading up based on their vehicle’s condition, financial position, and needs, using advanced dealership tools like Kelley Blue Book ICO and Automotive Mastermind.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain ongoing communication with customers who express interest but need more time, fostering trust and relationship continuity.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with other 'service to sales specialists' and 'service advisors' to identify and engage high-potential leads and add value to their service visits by providing insights and customized offers.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Customer-Centric Focus: Passion for helping customers make informed decisions through a consultative, educational style.
  • Sales / Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in automotive sales is ideal, but we’re open to coaching motivated individuals with applicable customer service experience.
  • Excellent Communicator: Confidently engage and listen to customers to uncover needs and present tailored solutions.

Why Join Us:

  • Supportive Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base pay, strong commission potential, health benefits, 401(k).& paid time off.
  • Team Support: The 'Service to Sales' Team will work as a unit to support each-other and deliver best customer experience and earning potential.
  • Career Growth: Continuous training and opportunities to advance within a collaborative, growth-focused team.
  • Fulfilling Work Environment: Work where your focus is on genuinely helping customers without high-pressure tactics.
