Our Bumper to Bumper store in Waukegan, IL is currently seeking a person for an Automotive Machine Shop Technician.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality results while maintaining excellent communication and customer service standards. Preferred experience in an automotive machine shop, including familiarity with engine components, precision measurements, machining processes, and shop equipment. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and grow within a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

This position also includes but not limited to:

  •  Customer Satisfaction
  •  Complete projects as assigned by manager.
  •  Overall machine shop cleanliness.
  •  Work with the Manager to better communications / service.
  • Automotive mechanical expertise in engine teardown.
  • Ability to follow direction; read and understand common danger placards/labels and hazardous warning literature including site safety plans
  • Demonstrates commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
  • Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws and policies
