Location: Farmington, CT
Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 hr.

Job Description:
USPRO Talent Solutions is seeking Production Technicians to join a growing precision aerospace manufacturing operation in Farmington, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates looking to begin or advance a career in precision machining and aerospace manufacturing.
The Production Technician will work alongside experienced machinists and CNC/EDM operators, support daily production while gaining hands-on exposure to precision manufacturing equipment and processes. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to be trained on CNC and EDM machinery, providing a pathway toward becoming a skilled machinist.
Prior CNC or EDM experience is not required. We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined candidates who are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and are motivated to learn a skilled trade.
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support CNC and EDM machinists with daily production activities.
  • Learn basic operation of CNC, EDM, and related manufacturing equipment.
  • Load and unload parts and materials from machines and workstations.
  • Prepare materials, tooling, fixtures, and equipment for production.
  • Perform deburring, cleaning, marking, packaging, and other secondary operations.
  • Assist with in-process inspections using basic measuring equipment.
  • Learn to work from manufacturing drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Complete production paperwork including part counts, scrap, inspections, labor time, and material movement.
  • Maintain machines, tooling, equipment, and work areas in clean and organized condition.
  • Assist with inventory, material staging, and movement of parts throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Communicate production, equipment, and quality concerns to supervisors and team members.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all OSHA, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing, warehouse, mechanical, automotive, machine shop, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
  • Previous machine shop or production experience is helpful but not required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning CNC/EDM machining.
  • Basic ability to understand work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience with basic measuring tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs. The original Burke requirements also include frequent physical activity and work around machinery, noise, vibration, cutting fluids, and typical manufacturing conditions.
