Job description

Landmark Ford, Inc. is seeking an operation driven Automotive Lot Supervisor to oversee vehicle inventory control and daily lot operations. This role requires the attention-to-detail and organizational skills to maintain high standards for vehicle presentation, inventory care, lot appearance and lot security. You will be the "heartbeat" of our dealership, ensuring that every vehicle is exactly where it needs to be and looking its best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Own end-to-end vehicle inventory control, ensuring physical inventory matches digital systems (DMS/CRM).
  • Lot Organization: Establish and enforce standards for lot arrangement to support sales efficiency and brand presentation.
  • Quality Control: Inspect newly arrived vehicles for damage against shipping manifests and ensure sold vehicles are detailed and ready for delivery.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate vehicle movement between sales, service, and off-site vendors.
  • Safety & Security: Maintain lot security by verifying all vehicles are locked at closing and ensuring the grounds are free of debris or hazards.
  • Facility Maintenance: Manage seasonal lot needs, such as snow removal and salting walkways, to maintain accessibility and manage the overall clean appearance of the lot.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Driving Skills: Valid driver’s license with a clean record; must be proficient in driving both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to use digital inventory tools, spreadsheets (Excel), and dealership software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
