What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in Automotive Inventory Management, and why are they important?

To excel in Automotive Inventory Management, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with inventory control processes, often supported by a background in business or automotive operations. Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS), inventory tracking software, and possibly certification in inventory management (such as APICS CPIM) is advantageous.
