Job Title: Automotive Technician
Location: Cloverdale, CA

We are a busy, well-established independent auto repair shop in Cloverdale, CA, known for quality workmanship, honest service, and a loyal customer base. We are currently seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of repair quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complete mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs on both domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Conduct inspections, maintenance, vehicle repairs, wheel alignments, and tire services.
  • Preform diagnostics, detailed inspection notes, and recommendations to Service Advisors.
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency, accuracy, and quality workmanship.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic scan tools, testing equipment, and shop computers.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive repair.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, computer and written skills.
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must possess a complete set of tools.
  • ASE Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain as a condition of employment).
  • Ability to bend, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
