Fountain Tire Fort McMurray is looking for a skilled Licensed/Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our team!

You will get to:

  • Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
  • Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
  • Completing approved service on customer vehicles
  • Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
  • Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
  • Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
  • Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
  • Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

What does it take to get on track?

  • Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade and at least 1 year of automotive experience
  • Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
  • A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
  • The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
