Job description

Install vehicle equipment such as two way radios, emergency lights, sirens, computers prisoner systems and related equipment .

. Must be fluent in English.

. MECP Certification, ASE Certification or equivalent, an asset;

. Candidate must have 1-3 years experience with installation of same or similar equipment

. Solid knowledge of automobile electrical systems;

. Ability to read and understand automobile electrical diagrams;

. Familiarity with voltmeters, ammeters, etc is essential;

. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a clean Criminal Records Search;

. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a clean Driver Record Search;

. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a clean Drug Test;

. Problem solving skills which require exercising independent judgment.

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of one year experience in 12 volt automotive electronics installations. Applicants with automotive mechanics work history may be considered as well. Must be able to produce top quality installations on a daily basis. Professional installation experience with car audio, video, navigation, alarms, remote car starters, GPS, cameras, and sensors in vehicles would be preferred. Mechanical and/or electronics experience with semi-trucks, construction equipment, or other low voltage powered heavy equipment a plus.
