About Us

Ray Laethem is a growing automotive dealership looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent organizational abilities, and preferably experience working in an automotive dealership environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the dealership's day-to-day accounting operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date dealership accounting records
  • Process accounts receivable
  • Reconcile daily bank and credit card transactions
  • Process and reconcile manufacturer and financial institution statement
  • Process Aftermarket contract remittanceย 
  • Process Aftermarket Contract Cancellationsย 
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
  • Work closely with the dealership's management team and external accountant
  • Ensure all accounting transactions are accurate and completed on a timely basis
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information
Qualifications
  • Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience; automotive dealership experience is an asset
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Experience with ย Excel, or dealership accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with vehicle inventory and dealership accounting is considered a strong asset
