Job description

I I Stanley Company, Inc., a leading supplier of automotive lighting products, was established in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1985. Founded on the principles of respect, trust, and value, we serve a wide range of customers – domestic and foreign – by supplying them with high-quality automotive headlamps, tail lamps, fog lamps.
Internal candidates are required to have under 3.00 attendance points.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Troubleshoot mass production processes including vacuum metallization equipment, hard coat coating equipment, decorative paint coating equipment, and anti-fog coating equipment
  • Participate in the sourcing of new tooling/machinery for production needs when necessary
  • Read and interpret documents/drawings; electrical prints, hydraulic, pneumatic, and ladder logic diagrams
  • Seek out advancements in technology that will improve IIS production abilities
  • Review drawings, analyze tooling, and recommend improvements leading to increased productivity, quality, and safety
  • Attend and participate in PDCA activities
  • Provide support to New Product Development group when necessary
  • Provide support to ALP for current production engineering changes when necessary
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and production personnel to complete duties
  • Maintain efficient painting programs for new products on Kawasaki, Fanuc, and Motoman robots
  • Performs other duties, tasks, and projects at the direction of immediate supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 0-4 years of coatings processing
  • Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, and PLC programming skills
  • Knowledge of programming robots (Kawasaki, Fanuc, Motoman, and IA)
  • Proficient in MS Office Systems
OPTIONAL/PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • PLC Programming (Keyence, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley)
  • Knowledge of programming robots (Kawasaki, Fanuc, Motoman, and IA)
  • Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, and PLC programming skills
  • 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Catia)
  • RS Logix
  • GXWorks 2/3
  • GT Designer 3
  • KV-Studio
  • VT-Studio
  • Solidworks
  • Robotics Programming
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
B.S. degree in engineering technology or equivalent related experience preferred.
