Job Title: Automotive Technician

Location: Auburn Hills, MI 48326

Duration: 12 months

Pay Range: $28/HR (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanic Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive diagnostics, call center-based technical support, and customer service and a proven ability to resolve complex repair concerns, drive timely ticket closure, and maintain high customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound calls and tickets from Dealer Technicians and provide technical diagnostic direction.
  • Apply a defined six-step diagnostic process to resolve automotive concerns.
  • Research and apply product and repair information using internal databases and tools.
  • Perform follow-ups on open tickets to ensure resolution and closure.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on automotive repair experience OR a Bachelor's Degree OR a Technical Trade School Certificate with internship or similar experience.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic and repair tools and Dealer information software.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a technical support environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience with electrification technologies (EV, PHEV, Hybrid).
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
  • Understanding of advanced diagnostic processes and automotive systems.
  • Familiarity with Stellantis North America product lines and technical resources.

Tools & Work Environment

  • Microsoft Office Suite and standard PC applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Dealer Information Software and diagnostics tools.
  • Internal ticketing and call management systems.
  • Client North America product databases and liaison resources.
