An Automotive Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing vehicles that meet their needs and budget. This role involves building strong customer relationships, understanding vehicle features, negotiating pricing, and ensuring a smooth sales process from initial inquiry to final delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Identify customer needs through active listening and asking relevant questions

  • Present, demonstrate, and explain vehicle features, specifications, and benefits

  • Conduct test drives and provide detailed product information

  • Discuss pricing, financing options, trade-ins, warranties, and additional services

  • Negotiate sales terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets

  • Maintain knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and market trends

  • Follow up with customers after purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals

  • Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems

  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions


Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
