Job Description:

Under general supervision, employee performs a variety of production assembly operations on electronic components and final assemblies.  To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Covers the terminal of the part with epoxy to ensure water resistance after soldering has been completed;
  • Places part in oven to dry;
  • Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work;
  • Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards;
  • Accomplishes production quotas;
  • Conducts himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner;
  • Working consistently, working overtime when required;
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly;
  • Ability to react to changes productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned;

Skills and Requirements:

  • Due to need to maintain ITAR compliance, applicants must be U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  • Ability to acquire proficient knowledge of Potting Line procedures;
  • Performs light electronic and / or electromechanical assembly work of low complexity and scope;
  • Performs frequent spring linking as required;
  • Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently utilize standard production small hand tooling and fixtures;
  • Ability to work from samples or simple visual aids;
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instruction in English;
  • Ability to work with a number sequence;
  • Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions;
  • Be team oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability.
