Automotive Lead Technician Position Overview
We are searching for a knowledgeable Automotive Technician to become a member of our energetic service team. The ideal candidate should possess significant experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance. Familiarity with a broad range of vehicle makes and models, including General Motors (GM) vehicles, is essential. This role provides the opportunity to work on advanced vehicle systems, including ADAS, electrical components, powertrains, and diesel engines. Candidates should demonstrate strong mechanical expertise, skill in using hand and power tools, and dedication to delivering excellent automotive service. Previous experience in a dealership setting will be considered an advantage.
Duties for Lead Technician
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics with advanced automotive diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on key vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspensions.
  • Repair or replace components such as ADAS sensors, electrical wiring, and powertrain parts as required.
  • Conduct wheel alignments and wheel balancing to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
  • Utilize schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Handle diesel engine repairs and auto body repairs whenever necessary.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably within a dealership environment.

  • Comfort with ADAS calibration, reading schematics, and using diagnostic software tools.
  • Experience working on GM vehicles is highly desirable.
