Job description

ABC Automotive Electronics, a two-store company, is looking for techs for our Berwyn and Elk Grove locations. We are a well-established automotive electronics and accessory company with two stores and over 65 years of experience. We are currently seeking skilled technicians in Elk Grove Village, IL, and Berwyn, IL.


Join our team to specialize in installing a variety of vehicle accessories, including:

  • Remote car starters
  • Car audio systems
  • Police and emergency lights
  • Police equipment
  • Truck accessories
  • Window tinting (if experienced)
  • Vehicle wraps (if experienced)
  • General automotive electronics and accessories


We offer competitive pay and benefits, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work with a great group of people. Our location is at 1401 Landmeier Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL, and 6631 Ogden Ave, Berwyn, IL.

Compensation:

$20 - $40 per hour based on experience


Responsibilities:
  • Install general 12-volt equipment like remote start systems, car audio, safety items, police and safety lighting equipment, car and truck accessories, window tint(if skilled), spray-in bed liners (if skilled), and ppp films (if skilled)
  • Both full and part-time positions are available
  • Work with the team to complete projects
  • Keep areas clean and safe
  • Drive vehicles in and out of the building
  • 5-day work week with a day off throughout the week and on Sunday
  • Demonstrate installed products to customers

Qualifications:
  • Able to bend and work on cars
  • Able to follow directions and read installation manuals
  • Able to understand English
  • Able to work in an automotive shop environment
  • Must be able to get under the car's dashboard to work on the vehicle
  • Must work well with others and follow directions
