EDM / CNC Operator โ€“ Automotive Manufacturing | Travel Assignment

IMMEDIATE HIRE | Lorain, OH | $45/Day Per Diem + Hotel + Travel Reimbursement

Premier Staffing Solutions is hiring an experienced EDM / CNC Operator for an immediate full-time travel assignment supporting a major automotive manufacturing facility in Lorain, Ohio.

If you have hands-on experience operating EDM, CNC, or stamping equipment and are comfortable working in an automotive manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate EDM and CNC equipment
  • Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers
  • Inspect automotive and manufactured components for dimensional accuracy
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
  • Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Document inspection results and identify nonconforming parts
  • Maintain production and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot basic machine and process issues
  • Follow all plant safety and quality procedures
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Recent hands-on EDM operating experience
  • Experience with CNC and/or stamping equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
  • Experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel and work in Lorain, OH
  • Ability to start immediately
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Preferred:

  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • Experience with quality inspection
  • Experience with multiple types of CNC/EDM equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
