Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land is seeking an aggressive, results-driven, experienced Automotive Used Car Manager to join one of the most successful luxury automotive dealerships in Texas.

This is a rare opportunity to lead the pre-owned operation at a dealership known for exceptional inventory, outstanding customer satisfaction, and industry-leading performance.

If you are currently managing a successful used car department and understand inventory acquisition, market-based pricing, appraisals, inventory turn, merchandising, and maximizing profitability, we want to speak with you immediately.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum 4 years of automotive management experience

  • Current or previous Used Car Manager experience preferred

  • Strong appraisal and inventory management skills

  • Proven track record of increasing sales volume and gross profit

  • Experience with inventory acquisition and sourcing vehicles

  • Understanding of vAuto, inventory management tools, and market pricing strategies

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams

  • Strong desk management and deal-structuring experience

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Luxury brand experience is a major plus

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage all aspects of the Pre-Owned Vehicle Department

  • Acquire and appraise vehicles from trades, auctions, and direct purchases

  • Monitor inventory levels and aging reports

  • Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability and inventory turn

  • Work closely with the General Sales Manager and Executive Management Team

  • Manage merchandising and online vehicle presentation

  • Drive used vehicle sales volume and departmental gross profit

  • Train and mentor sales professionals

  • Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and dealership reputation

  • Analyze market trends and competitive inventory daily
