JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Gas Engine Automotive Technician to join our successful family owned business of 33 years. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing gas engine vehicles, particularly trucks and/or EU autos. We provide most diagnostic equipment, and offer training, and provide better pay the more experienced you are. We are the most well-equipped shop in the state of Utah, and have a full onsite CNC machine shop to aid you in any special projects that come through the shop. If you are dependable, consistent, and have a never give up attitude, willing to problem-solve until you find the best solution for the customer, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes.
  • Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols.
  • Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
  • Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4-5 years of prior shop experience, or previous schooling is preferred.
  • Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred.

PAY
A minimum of $45 an hour flat ratemore based on experiencewith a bonus pay of
  • 60 hrs = $5.00 on top of flat rate
  • 65 hrs = $7.00 on top of flat rate
  • 72 hrs = $11.00 on top of flat rate

(Every 2-week pay cycle the time resets.)
