MPAQ Automation is a Canadian leader in industrial automation software for concrete plants across North America. For over 25 years, we've delivered reliable, innovative batching, dispatching, and plant automation solutions that keep concrete producers running efficiently and profitably.

We are growing - and we're looking for a Sales Manager who can lead our sales team, elevate our processes, and drive revenue growth.As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the full sales operation: pipeline development, team leadership, forecasting, process optimization, and strategic expansion. You'll work closely with senior leadership to refine our gotomarket strategy and ensure our solutions reach the right customers at the right time.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical B2B environment, understands industrial or manufacturing workflows, and knows how to build a highperforming sales department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, organize and mentor our sales team to increase efficiency and yearly revenues
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for North America, with a focus on concrete producers
  • Build and manage a predictable sales pipeline using CRM best practices
  • Conduct highlevel discovery calls, demos, and negotiations with plant owners and decision makers
  • Maintain deep knowledge of our software solutions and pricing, as they compare with our competitors'
  • Work with marketing to produce documentation, website, campaigns and leadgeneration initiatives
  • Work with our technical team to align product capabilities with customer needs
  • Forecast revenue and report sales metrics to leadership
  • Improve and document sales processes and playbooks
  • Represent MPAQ at industry events, trade shows, and customer visits
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in the concrete industry, or in related industries such as aggregates, cement, additives, batch plants, mixer trucks, concrete dispatching, process automation and manufacturing software
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing a sales team
  • Strong understanding of technical sales cycles and multiple stakeholder decision processes
  • Experience using and organizing CRM systems (Zoho CRM experience is an asset)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Native-level fluency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Business fluency in Spanish and/or French would be an asset.
  • Ability to travel within North America as needed
