IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Job Description


 Lead the automation testing efforts in Selenium with groovy Analyzing business unit requirements/user stories and developing appropriate test cases Reviewing requirements for testability to ensure applications can be tested as designed Calculating testing effort requirement estimates Creating and executing test plans and cases including automated scripts, recording defects, and communicating test results to various teams Functioning as team leader for Quality Assurance Team providing technical guidance and support, and performs duties of Quality Assurance Manager as needed Working with users and developers to resolve issues to make the application production ready Coordinating and conducting user acceptance testing Providing accurate resource planning estimates in terms of testing effort required to support agency release plan Performing functional, system, security and performance testing 

Primary Responsibilities: 

The main purpose of this position is write and executes Automation Tests in Selenium.  

Qualifications

General working knowledge of Defect tracking tools, Automation Tools, Test case management tools, Testing methodologies, Testing definitions & Processes.
General working knowledge of software development life cycle - Waterfall, Rational Unified Process, Agile Methodology. 
General working knowledge of functionality of web applications
Create and Execute Automated Testing scripts to ensure Regression testing can be completed thoroughly & efficiently
Plans & Executes Test cases and performs ad-hoc testing where necessary and issues a detailed defect report.
Working knowledge required of Behavior Driven development
Working knowledge of writing Selenium web driver tests
Working knowledge of groovy/Java
