Overview

Bluewater Federal is looking for a Build & Release Engineer to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB.

The Base Maintenance (BMx) Family of Systems program provides critical lifecycle support for enterprise U.S. Air Force logistics and maintenance systems that enable global mission readiness and sustainment operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage software build execution, packaging, and release promotion activities.
  • Coordinate deployment sequencing across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Maintain build automation and CI/CD pipeline processes.
  • Support release validation, readiness reviews, and rollback planning activities.
  • Manage artifact repositories and source control branching strategies.
  • Troubleshoot deployment and pipeline issues affecting release execution.
  • Support operational stabilization activities following deployments.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of build/release management.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Release orchestration, Automation scripting, Git branching strategies, Build automation, Artifact management
  • Security+ is preferred
