About this opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Systems & Automation within the SCM Shared Services Enablement team, this role is accountable for the end-to-end stability, optimization, and evolution of SCM systems and automation solutions, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA).


The Advisor acts as a functional and technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor across the SCM systems landscape, supporting Source-to-Pay and Materials Management processes. This role leads to system improvements, supports technology roadmap initiatives and ensures solutions are aligned with enterprise standards, controls, and business objectives.

What you'll do:

  • SCM Systems Support & Optimization: Serve as Subject Matter Expert for SAP SCM systems and connected applications, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with business needs. Lead issue resolution, enhancements, UAT, and advisory support to drive effective system use and data integrity

  • Automation & RPA Ownership: Identify and deliver automation opportunities (including RPA) in partnership with technical teams. Monitor performance and maintain governance (documentation, runbooks, roadmap alignment) for scalable solutions

  • Governance, Risk & Controls: Oversee system access, data integrity, and SOX/ITGC compliance, ensuring audit readiness. Track and report risks, issues, and performance across SCM systems and automation

  • Change & Adoption: Lead change management, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of system and process improvements. Maintain documentation, training materials, and facilitate workshops to align standards and solutions

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.

  • Post-secondary degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Technology, or related field

  • 5+ years of SAP SCM functional support experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including supplier collaboration and ERP-integrated processes

  • SAP MM expertise (ECC & S/4 HANA) with experience partnering across business, process, and technical teams

  • Advanced skills in business requirements gathering, data analysis (Excel), and SAP integrations (e.g., Ariba, Enverus OpenInvoice)

  • Broad SAP knowledge (MM, FICO, JV, PS, PM, HR) with experience integrating connected applications (e.g., Ariba, MCi TRACK, OpenInvoice)

  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation Experience, specifically development and maintenance within Automation Anywhere
