Position: Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Type: Contract (with potential for conversion)
Compensation: $35-$45/Hr
Location: East Lansing, MI (Onsite)

Responsibilities of the QA Analyst:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated regression test suites using Selenium with Java.
  • Execute manual functional and end-to-end test cases across web and mobile platforms.
  • Develop and execute API test scripts using Postman.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners within Agile Scrum sprints.
  • Create and maintain clear test plans, test cases, and defect reports in Jira.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies including planning, standups, and retrospectives.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution; validate fixes and perform regression testing.
  • Contribute to mobile application testing across iOS and/or Android platforms (preferred).


Preferred Experience of the QA Analyst:

  • 3+ years of QA experience (functional automation testing)
  • Experience with both manual testing and automated testing
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman
  • Experience Selenium WebDriver to build and maintain test frameworks
  • Knowledgeable of defect tracking and test management in JIRA or similar tools
  • Ability to assess requirements, identify test coverage gaps and make recommendations


Bonus Experience of the QA Analyst:

  • Experience with mobile testing with iOS and/or Android
  • Basic SQL skills
  • Familiarity with middle-tier service architecture for data delivery and processing.
