Position Overview:

We are seeking a Sales Automation Manager to drive revenue growth by selling automation-focused solutions to end customers. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role focused on identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and delivering value-driven solutions within industrial and manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate combines sales operations expertise, CRM/automation proficiency, and a strong understanding of B2B manufacturing/distribution environments.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Automation & Systems Management

  • Business development and new revenue generation
  • Consultive, solution-oriented selling
  • Optimize lead management, opportunity tracking, and pipeline stages
  • Partner with engineering and technical teams
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and reporting integrity

You’ll work directly with customers to understand their automation needs, promote products and solutions, and help develop tailored offerings that support productivity, efficiency, and performance improvements.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build dashboards and KPIs to measure sales effectiveness and pipeline health
  • Analyze conversion metrics, sales velocity, win/loss trends, and revenue performance
  • Deliver actionable insights to sales leadership

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align sales automation initiatives with marketing campaigns and customer programs
  • Support operations and customer service through improved system visibility
  • Act as a liaison between commercial teams and technical stakeholders

Training & Adoption

  • Lead user training and best-practice development
  • Drive CRM adoption, consistency, and workflow compliance
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience supporting B2B sales teams, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or technical product environments
