Job description

About KENTECH Consulting Inc.
KENTECH Consulting Inc. is an award-winning background screening technology company, known for innovative platforms like eKnowID.com—the first consumer background check system—and ClarityIQ, our high-tech, high-touch investigative case management system.
Our Mission:
To help the world make clear, informed hiring decisions.
Our Core Values:
✔️ Customer Focused: Results-driven, with the client experience at the center.
✔️ Growth Minded: We value continuous learning and applying industry best practices.
✔️ Fact Finders: Passionate investigators dedicated to discovery and truth.
✔️ Community & Employee Partnerships: We work to deliver what matters most to communities and employees.
We're hiring an AI Integration Specialist to identify, build, and deploy AI-driven automation across KENTECH, not just inside our investigative platforms. This role touches HR, recruiting, sales, client services, and operations, in addition to ClarityIQ and eKnowID. You'll work directly with department leads to find where AI saves time or improves accuracy, then build the solution yourself.
This is a hands-on technical role. You will write code, manage integrations, and ship working automation
Key Responsibilities

AI Development & Cross-Department Integration

  • Meet with department leads (HR, sales, ops, investigations) to identify automation opportunities specific to their workflows
  • Design and deploy AI solutions using OpenAI, AWS AI, Google AI, or Azure AI depending on the use case
  • Build custom AI models and integrations within KENTECH's SaaS platforms (eKnowID, ClarityIQ) and internal business systems.
  • Prioritize projects by business impact
System Integration & Workflow Automation

  • Manage API connections across departmental systems and troubleshoot integration issues
  • Use AI, NLP, and RPA to automate manual processes company-wide
  • Document each integration so non-technical staff can understand what the tool does and why
Security & Compliance (Non-Negotiable)

  • Ensure all AI solutions comply with GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, and other applicable data protection laws, in every department they touch, not just investigations
  • Follow KENTECH's data security protocols, including approved cloud environments and sensitive data handling
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Test, monitor, and optimize deployed AI models for accuracy, speed, and reliability
  • Provide basic technical training to department staff using the tools you build
  • Maintain version control and process documentation for every deployed solution
Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • 3+ years experience in AI/ML development using TensorFlow, OpenAI, PyTorch, AWS AI, or Google Cloud AI
  • Proficient in Python, R, or JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations, automation scripting, and AI deployment in production environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple business systems (not just one product stack)
Compliance & Data Privacy Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, and data protection practices as applied to AI workflows
  • Comfortable saying no or flagging risk when a requested integration creates compliance exposure
Soft Skills

  • Strong communicator who can translate technical work for non-technical department leads (HR, sales, ops)
  • Comfortable running discovery conversations with stakeholders who don't know what they need yet
  • Excellent documentation habits, including version control
  • Works independently and troubleshoots across time zones
Preferred Experience (Bonus Points)

  • Experience in background screening, legal tech, HR tech, or financial compliance industries
  • Prior work with investigative or case management platforms
  • Knowledge of HubSpot or similar CRMs
  • Prior experience rolling out AI tools company-wide, not just within one department or product

This is a remote position.
