Automation Technician
Overview:
The position of Automation Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair in the Wood Processing Department. This position will include all troubleshooting and repairs, Mechanical and Electrical. This position will also be responsible for the preventive Maintenance of the equipment to ensure proper running conditions.
Below is a list of the critical tasks of the position:
* Perform preventive Maintenance tasks
* Troubleshooting and repair of machinery
* Document all work on a PC based Maintenance Program
* Identify opportunities for equipment performance improvements
* Work with department supervision to maximize uptime and efficiencies of the Department
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit the following attributes:
*3 years" experience in an automation manufacturing environment
*3 years" experience mechanical and electrical
*Ability to read electrical schematics proficiently
*Work with minimal supervision
*Great Troubleshooting skills
*Good written and verbal communication skills
*Good computer skills
*Must have the ability to read and write in English
