Course:Manufacturing Automation & Lab

This course introduces students to manufacturing, assembly, and material handling processes through a prototype automation project. Areas of focus include the use of intelligent machines, cost and quality factors, safety protocols, control system design, device interfacing, and programming of electromechanical devices.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

Preferred: Doctorate in an engineering discipline AND controls instrumentation experience

Minimum: Master's in an engineering discipline with industry experience
