Job description

Automation Engineer (DCS)

Location: Fort McMurray, AB
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to provide day-to-day support for plant control systems in an operating industrial facility.

Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering support for Honeywell Experion/TPS or Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues.
  • Develop, modify, test, and implement DCS logic and graphics.
  • Support commissioning, maintenance, and Management of Change (MOC) activities.
  • Work independently while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Instrumentation teams.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion/TPS or Emerson DeltaV DCS.
  • Experience working in an operating industrial plant environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
