WHAT YOU WILL DO:
We are seeking a Principal Architect for Automation & Orchestration to lead next-generation automation capabilities across network provisioning, configuration management, API strategy, and orchestration pipelines. This role focuses on delivering world-class APIs and self-service capabilities for network services across the enterprise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Define target-state automation and orchestration architecture.
  • Lead API-first design for world-class network service APIs.
  • Architect CI/CD and GitOps-based orchestration pipelines.
  • Build automation frameworks for network provisioning and config management.
  • Drive model-driven configuration and intent-based networking.
  • Create self-service workflows, catalogs, and integration patterns.
  • Govern API lifecycle, schema design, documentation, and standards.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery with Network, Cloud, Security, and Platform teams.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
  • 10+ years in Network Engineering/Architecture.
  • Expertise in automation frameworks (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Strong API design experience (REST/GraphQL, OpenAPI specs).
  • Experience with orchestration tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
  • Strong understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, and cloud networking.
  • Experience with config/state mgmt and source-of-truth systems.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
  • Experience with event-driven automation.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes networking and ingress/egress automation.
  • Experience building internal developer platforms or portals.
  • Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, DevNet, AWS/Azure/GCP.
