The Company and Opportunity

Enthusiast Auto Holdings (EAH) is a highly successful e-commerce company in the automotive aftermarket parts industry. EAH goes to market via ten enthusiast-focused websites (banners) - ECS Tuning, Turner Motorsport, Pelican Parts, Rennline, Texas Speed & Performance, Z1 Motorsports, Z1 Off-Road, RCI Off-Road, Teqsport and EVANNEX.

EAH serves automotive enthusiast customers who are passionate about how their vehicle looks and performs, by providing the parts, content, knowledge and support to make their vehicle come to life. We also serve a global network of specialty installer shops that solve for customers looking for a "Do it For Me" option. EAH has also completed multiple acquisitions and plans to continue expansion of its served markets via acquisition. EAH is owned and supported by Cortec Group, a premier private equity firm. Cortec has invested millions of dollars to expand EAH’s operations, facilities, technology, and leadership. Among other investments, EAH has recently completed a significant facility expansion at its primary distribution center and is in the process of implementing enterprise-level ERP / WMS / OMS systems.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Freight & Parcel Strategy and Financial Performance

  • Develop and execute an enterprise freight and parcel strategy across all EAH brands and fulfillment locations.
  • Own the freight and parcel budget, forecast, savings pipeline, and performance against financial targets.
  • Monitor and improve visibility into outbound cost analytics.
  • Identify and implement sustainable cost-reduction opportunities while balancing delivery speed, capacity, reliability, customer experience, and network resiliency.
  • Develop business cases and implementation plans for new carriers, technologies, consolidation programs, service levels, and network changes.
  • Prepare and present clear, decision-oriented recommendations and performance updates to the Executive Leadership Team on a weekly basis.

Outbound Parcel Leadership

  • Own parcel strategy, procurement, negotiations, contract governance, and carrier performance across FedEx, UPS, Amazon Shipping, USPS, DHL, regional carriers, and other final-mile providers.
  • Lead parcel RFPs, contract negotiations, renewals, benchmarking, proposal analysis, and implementation.
  • Analyze base rates, dimensional weight, zones, minimum charges, fuel, residential and delivery-area surcharges, peak fees, rebates, discounts, and service guarantees.
  • Model carrier proposals and general rate increases using EAH’s actual shipment characteristics and projected volumes including the use of SIFTED or other analytical tools
  • Develop routing, carrier-allocation, and service-selection strategies that optimize cost, speed, capacity, and reliability.
  • Establish carrier scorecards and lead regular business reviews covering cost, service, claims, billing accuracy, capacity, and corrective actions.
  • Oversee parcel invoice auditing, contract compliance, billing disputes, claims recovery, and accessorial-cost reduction.
  • Lead peak-season forecasting, carrier-capacity planning, contingency planning, and response to major service disruptions.

Inbound and International Logistics

  • Develop and execute inbound transportation strategies from domestic and international suppliers to EAH distribution and manufacturing locations.
  • Optimize ocean, air, parcel, LTL, FTL, drayage, transload, and interfacility transportation.
  • Lead freight-forwarder, customs-broker, ocean, air, LTL, and truckload RFPs and negotiations.
  • Develop international freight-consolidation programs for suppliers in Asia, Europe, and other sourcing regions.
  • Improve container utilization, shipment consolidation, routing, mode selection, lead-time reliability, and inbound transportation cost per unit.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Planning, Operations, and Finance to incorporate transportation capacity, cost, and lead times into inventory and demand-planning decisions.

Multi-Site Fulfillment, Systems, and Process Standardization

  • Develop, analyze, and lead the standardization of logistics systems, workflows, business rules, and operating processes that enable efficient multi-site fulfillment.
  • Assess current-state processes across legacy ERP, WMS, TMS, parcel-manifesting, and carrier platforms to identify process gaps, manual work, unnecessary variation, and automation opportunities.
  • Design standardized future-state processes for order routing, rate shopping, carrier selection, shipment execution, labeling, documentation, tracking, exception management, claims, freight auditing, and reporting.
  • Partner with Operations and Technology to enable inventory visibility, distributed order management, cross-site fulfillment, split-shipment decisions, and consistent customer delivery promises.
  • Establish enterprise standards while allowing clearly defined site-specific requirements when operational differences are justified.

Acquisition Integration and Network Expansion

  • Lead the transportation and logistics integration of acquired companies into the EAH network.
  • Assess each acquisition’s freight spend, carriers, contracts, systems, processes, service levels, compliance requirements, organizational capabilities, and customer commitments.
  • Develop and execute integration plans that balance speed, business continuity, customer experience, cost savings, and long-term standardization.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage EAH’s enterprise carrier agreements, transportation technologies, reporting capabilities, and operating processes.
  • Determine which acquired-company processes and systems should be retained temporarily, standardized immediately, or transitioned through the broader NetSuite, RF-SMART, TMS, and multi-site fulfillment roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of progressive transportation, logistics, or supply-chain experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
  • Deep experience managing high-volume parcel transportation in a DTC, e-commerce, retail, distribution, fulfillment, or third-party logistics environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading parcel RFPs, national carrier negotiations, rate analysis, contract implementation, and carrier-performance management.
  • Detailed understanding of parcel pricing, dimensional weight, zones, accessorials, fuel programs, minimum charges, peak surcharges, and service-level economics.
  • Experience managing inbound domestic transportation and international freight from Europe, Asia, or other global sourcing markets.
  • Experience designing and standardizing logistics processes across multiple distribution or fulfillment locations.
  • Experience enabling multi-site fulfillment, including inventory visibility, order routing, distributed fulfillment, standardized carrier selection, and consistent shipment execution.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing TMS, ERP, WMS, parcel-shipping, rate-shopping, freight-audit, or transportation-visibility platforms.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, data-visualization, and executive-presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of HTS classification, customs compliance, import requirements, and hazardous-material transportation.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence teams across a multi-site, multi-brand, or matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, finance, engineering, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
