Job description

Position Mission

Coordinate and ensure the execution of the facility's logistics operations across the Production, Cooler, Warehouse, and Shipping areas, ensuring compliance with the operational plan, established processes, traceability controls, safety standards, and organizational performance indicators.

Responsabilities

Planning

  • Plan and organize the resources required to achieve the daily work plan, implementing controls from product receiving through dispatch, minimizing losses, and optimizing processes.

Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate and execute operations related to Production, Cooler, Warehouse, Pulling, Shipping, and Transportation, ensuring compliance with the work plan for all departments and the proper management of resources (products, personnel, equipment, schedules, etc.).
  • Verify compliance with the procedures established by the company.
  • Ensure the accurate recording and updating of information in the systems defined by the company.
  • Monitor the use of forklifts, equipment, and operational materials, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out as required.
  • Consolidate and monitor compliance with the KPIs established for the area and report any deviations.
  • Lead and propose process optimization, automation, and process redesign initiatives.
  • Direct and coordinate supervisors and area leaders, ensuring interdepartmental communication, achievement of operational goals, and employee development and training.
  • Maintain constant communication with the different departments.

Assurance (Position KPIs)

  • Ensure compliance with the management indicators established for the position, considering OSHA regulations, certifications, and operational requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Supervisor in Operations, Warehouse, or Cooler areas or Proven experience leading teams and managing high-volume operational processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills and basic knowledge of Power BI.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, production planning, inventory control, and operational cost management.
  • Experience in the perishable goods industry is preferred.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish.
