Advisor360° is hiring a Software Automation Engineer II to build and test shared services and tools, drive operational excellence, and automate systems in our hybrid-cloud environment. This role requires balancing tactical automation solutions with strategic implementation, from developing scripts to resolve customer-impacting issues to creating sustainable automation frameworks for long-term initiatives.
Here's What You'll Do:
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders employing a "shift left" mentality.
  • Interpret requirements documentation to create comprehensive test plans
  • Ensure adequate test coverage within product areas
  • Perform investigative and negative testing to find application limits
  • Develop solid understanding of team's domain area and assist with requirement refinement
  • Automate manual test cases
  • Work within software engineering teams to ensure product quality
  • Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution activities
  • Document discrepancies using defect tracking tools
  • Engage in software release activities
  • Create and maintain regression test suites
  • Debug issues from failed daily automation executions
  • Analyze business requirements to create effective test plans
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop reliable, efficient automation tests

What You Bring to the Table:
  • 4+ years of software quality assurance experience
  • Knowledge of software engineering testing best practices
  • Analytical approach to troubleshooting

  • Strong programming experience in Python with Playwright & Selenium
  • Understanding code architecture best practices such as reusability, maintainability, scalability, and abstraction

  • Experience with SQL and relational databases with capability to dig into and understand data.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $86,000-$98,000 + bonus & equity.
