We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role will focus on designing, developing,deploying and supporting automation/orchestration workflows using low-code/no-code platforms to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation technologies and a passion for simplifying complex workflows through innovative solutions.

What You Will Do:

  • Build automation workflows using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), Logic Apps, Forms, and other low-code/no-code tools to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams (inc. but not limited to HR, Marketing, Finance, Client Development and legal practices) to gather requirements, define workflow logic, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions that integrate with enterprise systems such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, third-party SaaS platforms and other data sources. Create and maintain new connectors to various enterprise platforms

  • Partner with Transformation Team to continuously monitor and refine automation workflows to improve performance, reduce manual effort, and eliminate process bottlenecks.

  • Leverage Microsoft Azure AI services and related Generative AI tools to enhance automation workflows with intelligent decision-making and natural language processing capabilities.

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation workflows to ensure reliability, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards.

  • Keep current with emerging trends in low-code/no-code platforms, Microsoft ecosystem updates, and automation best practices.

  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of automation designs, configurations, and support procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and operational continuity.

  • Provide end-user support and training for deployed automation solutions, addressing issues and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Ensure all automation solutions adhere to IT governance, security, and compliance requirements.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience as an Automation Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure-based tools.

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (especially PowerApps and Power Automate), Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions. Familiarity with cloud-based automation architecture, REST APIs, and integration patterns across Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems.

  • Proficient in scripting and an understanding of programming languages such as Powershell, JavaScript, Power Fx, C#, and Python. Experience with building custom connectors, managing data sources (e.g., Dataverse, SQL, SharePoint), and deploying solutions in enterprise environments.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable automation solutions leveraging process improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma and Agile. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies. Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
