What will you get to do?

  • Support project teams in multiple capacities including design of mechanical systems, fabrication drawings, BOMs, schematics, assembly drawings, etc.
  • Optimally communicate within a team environment
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members
  • Work to deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers
  • Participate in client meetings and internal engineering design reviews
  • Generate content for project proposals, including developing concepts and estimating effort and equipment cost
  • In the process of machine build, support technicians solve problems and offer solutions
What will you bring to the team?
  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university, plus equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a design engineering role with experience in indirectly coaching and guiding junior team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communications, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work and support a team environment
  • Familiarity with motion systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, robots, etc.
  • Experience user of CAD packages, SolidWorks preferred
  • Use of engineering tools such as Mathcad, Ansys, or equivalent FEA packages is a plus
  • Experience designing mechanisms for automation, complex electro-mechanical systems, and/or mechanical solutions that require a high level of precision is a plus

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

The base salary range for this position is $ 102,000- $153,000 per year. This range represents the Companyโ€™s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.

This role can sit in Merrimack, NH or Kalamazoo, MI.
