Description

The candidate will provide technical design support for Automation Systems for our clients and will be responsible for various interactions with control systems. They will assist in different aspects of automation projects, such as design, documentation, implementation, training, validation, and more. Additionally, this position supports packaging project field executions for the Life Science Industries.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/mechanical engineering or Electronic Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation or related role .
Responsibilities
  • Support in the configuration and maintenance tasks for automation equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems.
  • Support troubleshooting, configuration changes and systems updates
  • Ensure configuration control and documentation are maintained according to site requirements.
  • Support automation projects and operational activities, as required.
  • Design and development of automated systems for packaging processes.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, technical discussions, and design reviews to contribute to the development of automation solutions.
  • Participate in validation testing activities to verify the performance and compliance of automation systems.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience in automation and projects implementation.
  • Ability to understand P&ID drawings, network diagrams, panel layout drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO / OSHA / cGMP requirements and current industry practices is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatics solutions is preferred.
  • Experience with Rockwell PLC and HMI software and hardware.
  • Experience with programming languages (C#, Visual Basic, Python, Java,) is preferred.
  • Experience with IQ, OQ, PQ process validation.
  • Automation standards experience (i.e. ISA, UL508A, ISO).
Required Skills
  • Knowledge of control circuits, hardware, software, and system integration .
  • Understanding of automation technologies and principles, including PLC programming, HMI development, and robotics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in learning and applying new technologies.
  • Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, GAMP, UL508A.
